Let me tell you what most of my encounters look like:
Me: "Hey! How are you? How is your job, dog, husband, partner, farm going?
Them: Um, everything would be great if I did not spend most of my time hitting the refresh button on my computer awaiting just one, ONE glimpse of your daughter. What the freak?!"
Me: "Hey, is that Tom Selleck?(start sliding towards my car while pretending I am watching Magnum P.I. buy a churro acrossthe street)"
Sorry! Resume life now! Yes, my wobble headed daughter has grown teeth, legs, you name it in the three short months she has been here. She loved pulling herself up and has an acute awareness of what she should not touch, which is why I heard her giggling and looked up and found her hand on the handle of my coffee cup. It also appears she has perfected prisonesque teardrop tatoos fashioned out of greenbeans. Good to know! 
What can I say? Honestly people cross the street to say hello to Ellie cakes. She smiles at everyone and leave most of them calling adoption agencies within the hour. I spoke to a man who had been staring at us while grocery shopping and wihtin minutes he was calling his wife and telling her he wanted to adopt from Taiwan. 
This woman went so far as to try to marry her. True!
Christmas was crazy and wonderful and just Ellenicous. 
We love you Ellster. I will post again! Promise!

Ohhhh thank goodness.. finally a peek at miss Ellie. She is adorable you know and those of us who are still waiting for a cutey pie like her love to see that smile. Glad to here things are going well.
